With the pounding percussion of drums and the colorful presentation of the flags from 155 world areas, attendees to the first worship service of the 27th General Assembly and Conventions were treated to an extravaganza of sight and sound. read more

One Heart-Many Hands touches lives in Orlando
Allen Burchett, a general contractor from the small town of Pickerington, Ohio, is spending his vacation this week in Orlando. But there's no trip to Walt Disney World or Universal, no golf, no Cirque du Soleil, not even souvenir hunting for alligator skulls on International Drive. Burchett is spending the week gutting and renovating the home of a man he just met. read more

The 27th General Assembly services and business sessions will be broadcast live, via the Internet, from Orlando, Florida, June 24 through July 2. Through the first two days of the event, thousands of viewers have joined the services online, with 5,000 on Day 1 and over 6,000 on Day 2. read more

The Global Symphony of Prayer took place at 8:45 P.M., June 24, with an estimated 2,000 in attendance. The event featured interactive, guided prayer interspersed with music. read more

The Global Mission Conference continued Thursday, opening with worship at 8 A.M. General Nazarene Missions International (NMI) President Eunice Brubaker preached on the NMI leader's role in discipling others. read more

The very first Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries International (SDMI) quadrennial celebration was held Thursday morning. SDMI Director Woodie J. Virtually connected, youth choose new regional leaders
Enthusiastic greetings went out digitally as Nazarene Youth International Convention delegates connected for regional caucuses via videoconference on Wednesday, June 24. Each region selected its new president and vice president, and nominated representatives for five positions on the Global NYI Council: three age-group representatives, president, and vice president. Women's Ministries Consortium meets for prayer and fasting
Approximately 100 women gathered Wednesday morning, June 24, for a time of prayer and fasting. Linda Hardin, Women's Ministries general coordinator, and LaWanda Bullock, president of Women's Ministries International for the Free Methodist Church, welcomed the women as Linda Watson led in musical worship and praise. read more
