Bangladesh District organizes 1,000 churches, votes to become three districts
During the 17th Bangladesh District Assembly March 23-24, nearly 2,000 delegates unanimously voted to sponsor the creation of two phase three districts by dividing the current Bangladesh District into three self-supported districts. The vote was followed by an uproarious standing ovation.

Kansas assistant to become next head coach for MNU women's basketball
MidAmerica Nazarene University Director of Athletics Kevin Steele announced the hiring of Karen Lange, an assistant coach at the University of Kansas, as the head women's basketball coach at MNU this week. She replaces Bill Olin, who announced his retirement after the 2009-10 season.
