Azusa Pacific University President Jon R. Wallace announced the selection of T. Scott Daniels as dean of the School of Theology. Daniels is senior pastor of Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene and will continue in that role in addition to the APU assignment. read more

Clean water in Haiti giving hope to the thirsty
This past Mother's Day, families in Bellanger, Haiti, not only celebrated the lives of women they know, but also a new life-giving well providing clean water to the entire community located north of Port-au-Prince. The Haiti Water Project, a ministry of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, recently visited the town to find that their only source of water, a hand-dug well, had stopped producing water after the earthquake. Since then, residents have been forced to purchase water for drinking - when they can afford it. read more

Eastern Nazarene College receives NIH grant
Eastern Nazarene College and the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy have jointly received a grant from the National Institutes of Health. The four-year research project will work to develop a method for identifying metabolites - chemical compounds produced in the human body - and holds possible long-term applications in the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and other diseases. read more
